Jasper CEO Dave Rogenmoser made a lot of connections at Jasper’s Gen AI conference this year. But Dave told me he was just as happy to know that many of the 1,000+ attendees that day were making connections, both business relationships and traditional friendships, among themselves too. He knows first-hand how good conferences are at bridging gaps and he was happy that his team could put on an event that facilitated those same connections — particularly around the emergent space of generative AI.
Since the space is so new, Dave also said he hopes the event can highlight the fact that “this is not just this nebulous technology that's locked away in academia and data science. It’s here.”
Part of putting gen AI into practice means writing content faster within businesses. But it can also mean using gen AI tools like Jasper in unexpected ways, like writing children’s books. I (somehow) pulled Dave away the full-time job of shaking hands to hear some of the major takeaways he hoped attendees got from the conference.
